Are you constantly being scammed?
- You receive a text saying your (for example Linkt Account) is overdue and need to pay immediately. Never follow the link, always go in to the Official Website for Linkt and check your account that way.
- You receive an email that looks really legit that there are changes to your account. If you are unsure if it is a scam or not, you can expand the email address to see if it is the business emailing you, their official email address. If you are still unsure, again, go to the Official Website and check your account.
- You receive a phone call from an unknown number, but you still answer it, don't say anything until they speak. This is still not fail safe, but can be a little more safe guarded.
- You advertise something online and a potential buyer states they would like to purchase the item and request your payID details to make payment. You give them your details and they come back and say "It is not showing up, I think it is because I'm paying through my payID Business Account. Please send email again." Then you receive the below message. This is a scam and I have seen so many people fallen victim to it. Arm yourself, don't let you become another victim.
